Come as you are

However you found us — new in Mae Sot, far from home, or simply looking for a church family — there is a place for you here.

We are a small church with an open door. Many of us came to Mae Sot from Myanmar looking for work, study or safety, and we know what it is to start again in a new place.

On Sunday we sing, we pray, we open the Bible together, and we eat together. You do not need to dress a certain way, speak a certain language, or know anyone here first. Just come.

Why Mae Sot

Mae Sot sits on the Thai–Myanmar border, where many displaced people from Myanmar arrive looking for work, education and healthcare.

Ambassadors for Christ Church was founded here on 11 August 2013 as a non-denominational, independent Christian church. We worship in Burmese, and we exist to walk with this community — through worship, discipleship, fellowship and practical care such as our free Sunday transportation.

No transport should keep anyone from worship. We pick you up and bring you home.
